Black caucus fund-raiser to benefit group retreat

Admission to the party is $3, making it one of the most inexpensive parties of the year, according to Case Hall Black Caucus President Rachel Harris.

This year's event will fund the caucus retreat to Toronto where students will learn about the way African culture and experience differs in Canada.

"We want to give students exposure to African culture beyond the United States," Harris said.

"There are a lot of Caribbean and African influences in Canada that are different from the United States, and we want to make students aware of them."

Doors close at 11:45 p.m., and students are advised to buy tickets early, as organizers expect the event to sell out.

For more information please contact Harris at (517)355-7213.
