A 19-year-old male student reported he was threatened and robbed by two unknown men Wednesday at 9:30 p.m. in the area of Red Cedar Road and Kalamazoo Street, MSU police Sgt. Keith McDaniel said. The student was approached by two men who demanded his money, McDaniel said.The victim gave the men the $4 in his wallet and they escaped on foot, McDaniel said. No weapon was seen or reported in the incident that is still undergoing investigation, McDaniel said. A 23-year-old male student reported his cell phone, clothing, wallet and its contents and backpack and its contents stolen Wednesday from an unlocked locker at Jenison Field House, McDaniel said.The student left the locker unlocked between noon and 2:45 p.m., McDaniel said. The items are valued at $280, and McDaniel said police have no suspects. An 18-year-old female student and was reportedly harassed by a former roommate Wednesday, McDaniel said.The student said she had been receiving threatening e-mails from her former roommate, an 18-year-old former MSU student, McDaniel said. The student said the harassment has been an ongoing situation regarding personal matters, McDaniel said. A 35-year-old male employee of Sparty's Convenience Store in the Communication Arts and Sciences Building reported the embezzlement of $250 from the store, McDaniel said Wednesday.The money was stolen over an unknown period of time, McDaniel said. It did not appear that anyone from outside entered the building, McDaniel said. Officers are investigating. The Mason Police Department requested assistance from MSU's canine unit at 4:30 a.m. Friday, McDaniel said.The police dog was called to duty after a vehicle's occupants were stopped for questioning on a local larceny investigation, McDaniel said.The four men occupying the car fled on foot, and the dog tracked down two of them in a nearby field, McDaniel said.
