Service fraternity to host race on Saturday

The nation's largest community service fraternity, Alpha Phi Omega, will host a 5K run/walk called "Chase For Charity" on Saturday in front of the MSU Psychology Research Building.

The MSU chapter of the fraternity developed the race in an effort to promote community fellowship and raise money for the various organizations they represent.

This particular event will benefit two students battling medical problems.

Prizes will be given for the winners in both the run and walk categories, as well as first, second and third place overall finishes.

Registration will begin at 12:30 p.m., and the race will start at 1:30 p.m.

For more information about the run or Alpha Phi Omega, contact Stephanie Freundel at freundel@msu.edu or call (517)337-9975.
