A 23-year-old female student reported several items stolen from her office in the Natural Science Building on Tuesday, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.At 12:30 p.m. Tuesday the student left a Panasonic CD player, Sony headphones, a CD carry case and several CDs on her desk in the unlocked office, McGlothian-Taylor said.When she returned at 3 p.m. the items were missing, McGlothian-Taylor said.The items are valued at $215.• A 38-year-old male student reported his Cherry Lane Apartment bedroom window screen damaged and his watch stolen Tuesday, McGlothian-Taylor said.At midnight Sunday the student took his Shanghai watch off and put it on his night stand near the window, McGlothian-Taylor said.He opened the window slightly and went to bed, McGlothian-Taylor said. When he woke up at 11 a.m. Monday the window screen appeared to be cut with a sharp object and the watch was missing, McGlothian-Taylor said.The student did not hear any noise during the night, McGlothian-Taylor said.Both the watch and the damaged window screen are valued at $20 each.• Two men were reported sleeping in the Union computer center by a male MSU employee Tuesday, McGlothian-Taylor said.A 20-year-old Texas man and a 19-year-old Indiana man were issued trespassing letters under a university ordinance for camping out in the center between 6 and 11 a.m. Tuesday, McGlothian-Taylor said.The men were hoping to be MSU students next year, McGlothian-Taylor said.The Texas man is wanted for retail fraud, and was turned over to the Eaton County Sheriff's Department, McGlothian-Taylor said.
