MSU's Foodborne Disease Forum has set up a Web site for the public to report contaminated foods in Greater Lansing. The Web site is www.RUsick2.msu.edu.
According to the Ingham County Health Department, there is a higher number of foodborne illnesses around Thanksgiving.
The Web site also provides safety tips for food preparation including:
Make sure all utensils, hands, counter tops and cutting boards are clean.
Store, thaw and cook turkey or other raw meat properly.
Cook stuffing separately.
Refrigerate leftovers quickly.
