The University Physician’s Office at MSU is sending health information e-mails to MSU employees, retirees and health care providers.
The Healthy Email Project provides information on common health concerns that has been reviewed by physicians.
Some topics discussed in each e-mail include asthma, heart disease, mental health and alternative medications and practices.
According to a recent survey, 62 percent of health care providers said they made decisions about service based on information found in the e-mails.
