The Case Hall Black Caucus is sponsoring a haunted house Friday night for students and area residents. It will be open from 7-11 p.m. in the basement of Case Hall and the cost is $3.

Caucus President Rachel Harris said last year’s event brought in about 300 students, as well as children from the community.

“Last year was a success and we hope to repeat that success,” she said. “We don’t want to give it away. We had a surprise ending last year. Hopefully people will be horrified, that’s what we’re trying to get at.”

Harris said this year’s house will be different, and she’s hoping to double the number of people who come to the event last year.

“We really, really need the support,” she said.

A visit to the house could take anywhere from 10 minutes to a half hour, Harris said.

Although the house will be different, one thing will still be the same - the shocking finale.

“We want people to be surprised,” she said.
