10 p.m. - Paradise Kick-Off with Happy Charles at Club Paradise, 224 S. Washington Square in downtown Lansing. Outdoor dance tent with electronic musician Happy Charles.
10 p.m. - 505 Kick-Off with Kristie Stremel at Club 505, 505 E. Shiawassee St.. Evening of contests and a performance by musician Kristie Stremel.
10 p.m. - Spiral GoGo Kick-Off at Spiral Video Dance Bar, 1247 Center Street in Lansings Old Town. Go-go boys, two dance floors and contests.
Saturday
8 a.m.-noon - Remember My Name AIDS Memorial. The names of those who have died of HIV and AIDS will be read at the Capitol steps. The reading includes a brief memorial service. Family members and friends are invited to read the names of their loved ones.
11 a.m. - 505 Eye Opener: Club 505, 505 E. Shiawassee St.. Complimentary coffee and rolls before the Pride March.
Noon - Pride March staging hosted by Mimi Gonzalez. The 14th annual Pride March will line up along Grand Avenue and Shiawassee Street at Riverfront Park. Floats and vehicles should arrive early. Registration for floats, vehicles and motorcycles can be completed at the march or online at www.michiganpride.org. The fee per car or float is $20.
1 p.m. - Pride March. The Pride March will step-off from Riverfront Park and continue east on Shiawassee Street, south on Cedar Street and north on Michigan Avenue to the Capitol.
2 p.m. - Capitol Civil Rights Rally. Leading lesbian, bisexual, gay and transgender activists will lead a rally at the Capitol. Speakers include Todd Munt of National Public Radio; Rep. Chris Kolb, D-Ann Arbor; Ingham County Commissioner Chris Swope; Traverse City Mayor Margaret Dodd; and Detroit civil rights attorney Rudy Serra, a Triangle Foundation board member and member of the Detroit Civil Rights Council.
2:30-8 p.m. - Pride Festival at Riverfront Park. The Michigan Pride festival will feature vendor booths, community booths, the Pride Open Air Bar, the family area, the food court and free HIV testing in the Living Safe area. Suggested donation at gate, $2 a person.
3 p.m. - Capitol Commitment Ceremony sponsored by Washtenaw Rainbow Action Project. A mass wedding will be held at the Capitol steps featuring couples from throughout Michigan. Official holy union certificates from the Metropolitan Community Church and nondenominational affirmation certificates will be available. Registration can be completed online at www.michiganpride.org or by calling the Washtenaw Rainbow Action Project at (734)995-9867.
3:30 p.m. - Miller Lite Festival Stage. Featuring performances by Happy Charles, Zoe Lewis, Kristie Stremel, The Decline, Hypnogaja and guest host Mimi Gonzalez.
