I cannot believe The State News published an advertisement from Playboy. As close as some of the advertisements have come to being pornographic or objectifying women, I find it hard to swallow you actually published an ad from someone who sells the stuff.

We should not have to stand for being objectified in the media, and especially by a college newspaper.

I’m outraged, and I hope you choose your advertisers more carefully in the future. Just because women are portrayed pornographically everywhere else doesn’t mean you have to join the race. Please, consider the responses to the material you publish more carefully.
