The College of Communication Arts and Sciences will host its third Digital Media Art & Technology Student Showcase from 4-8 p.m. May 2 in 134 Communication Arts and Sciences Building.
Professors have selected top student projects from their 2001-02 creative courses to display at the showcase.
Displays include audio, video, print and computer projects from courses in telecommunication, journalism and advertising.
Judges will select Best of Class from each courses finalists, and one Best in Show. Winners will be announced at the showcase.
This will give people a chance to get exposure to students projects and recognize the hard work students have done, said Darcy Greene, associate professor in the School of Journalism. A lot of people are unaware of the creativity of the computer and the wide range of projects that can be done.
