I am writing to express my disappointment and irritation to the majority of the business representatives at the Liberal Arts Career Fair on Thursday. This event was supposed to run from 6 - 9 p.m., but when I arrived with résumés in hand at 8:30 p.m., most of the booths already were abandoned and the rest were packing up their displays.

This shows tremendous disrespect for those students who took the time out of their busy schedules only to find the representatives could not even stay for the entire time to which they committed.

I find this to be very unprofessional and I was very irritated that I wasted my time preparing for this event. I hope in the future these businesses that come to recruit students can at least stick around until the end of the fair instead of copping out early and wasting our time.
