Breslin Center presents veteran rockers REO Speedwagon and Styx on their Arch Allies Tour at 7:30 p.m. REO Speedwagon is best known for their hits such as Keep on Loving You and Cant Fight This Feeling. The Creole Gallery, 1218 Turner St. in Lansing, presents Steppin In It at 8 p.m. The trio features multi-instrumentalists performing traditional music such as blues and waltzes. MSU Pavilion for Agriculture and Livestock Education, at the corner of Mount Hope Road and Farm Lane, presents a Quiet Water Symposium from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The symposium is for visitors to learn about recreation and activities in the Great Lakes region. There will be hand-built and antique watercrafts, snowshoes and dog sleds. Boat-building demonstrations will go on all day, and there also will be speakers to talk about their new books and wild trips. The Greater Lansing Symphony Orchestra All Orchestral Program with music director and conductor Gustav Meier will be performing its MasterWorks V Concert at 8 p.m. in the Great Hall at Wharton Center. The Creole Gallery, 1218 Turner St. in Lansing, in cooperation with MSU School of Labor and Industrial Relations, presents a new show called Child Labor in the 19th Century. The show features photographs by Lewis Hines, Jacob Riis and Augustus Sherman, and also will have a collection of antique childrens shoes to help communicate child labor.
