Police briefs 02/07/02

A male student reported his vehicle broken into Tuesday, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said. The student’s 1993 Ford pickup was parked in Lot 83 on Service Road. The driver’s side window was broken and a CD player, CDs and CD case were stolen. Estimated loss and damage is $770. Police have no suspects.• A male student reported his cell phone stolen from IM Sports-East, Tuesday, Taylor said. The student was playing basketball and left his phone, worth $150, at the side of the court. When he finished playing more than an hour later, the phone was gone. Police have no suspects.
