Lansing Community Pharmacy, 925 E. Kalamazoo St., was robbed at 12:20 p.m. Thursday, Lansing police Lt. Ray Hall said. A male in his 20s entered the pharmacy with a large kitchen knife. He approached the pharmacist and demanded all the OxyContin pills be put into a brown paper bag. The suspect then left with the pills. The suspect was wearing a blue coat, blue jeans, a dark stocking cap and green athletic shoes. A female student reported her laptop computer stolen from her Hubbard Hall room, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said. The computer, which is worth more than $1,600, was stolen between Tuesday and Wednesday. There was no force used to enter the room and police have no suspects. A male student reported his duffle bag stolen from IM Sports-West Wednesday, McGlothian-Taylor said. The student left the bag containing his personal belongings in the hallway while he ran laps. While he was out of sight his bag and belongings, valued at $650 were taken. Police have no suspects. A female student reported her wallet stolen from the Main Library Wednesday, McGlothian-Taylor said. The student left her book bag, which contained her wallet, unattended for a short period of time. When she returned her wallet with $25 inside was gone. The wallet was found later in the mens restroom, but the money was gone. Police have no suspects.
