The No. 60 mens tennis team opened its Big Ten season with two defeats this weekend.
The Spartans (7-4 overall, 0-2 Big Ten) opened with a 4-3 loss to No. 50 Northwestern Saturday and fell 7-0 again to No. 2 Illinois on Sunday.
