November 9, 2001

The Landon Hall cafeteria will be ready to set sail tonight when the West Circle dorms, Residence Life and MSU police sponsor “Friday Night Cruise.”

The event runs from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and is open to all students with a meal plan.

About 200 students attended the theme event last year, MSU police Officer Khalil Wasson said.

Students will able to dine on shrimp cocktail near the decorative ice sculpture between games of blackjack and karaoke.

Prizes from the MSU Bookstore will be awarded to game winners.

“It’s going to be beautiful,” Wasson said. “It’s just an effort to invite the students out to have a good time with us and strengthen the relationship between us.”
