Well-known crime investigator to speak in Okemos

The chief investigator in the Ted Bundy murder cases of the 1970s will speak in Okemos on Thursday.

Robert D. Keppel, the president of the Institute for Forensics in Seattle and the founder of the Washington State Homicide Investigation and Tracking System, will participate in a workshop presented by the School of Criminal Justice and the Michigan Association of Polygraph Examiners.

The workshop, “Serial Murder Investigations: A One-Day workshop by Robert D. Keppel, Ph.D.,” will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Comfort Inn, 2209 University Park Drive.

Keppel has been involved in more than 2,000 murder cases by investigating, reviewing or consulting them. He has been the author of many books and articles, has lectured widely and has testified in trials on the operation methods of serial killers, murder and police investigations.
