It was only a month ago that the Rev. Jerry Falwell uttered some of the most irresponsible words about the cause of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
“God continues to lift the curtain and allow the enemies of America to give us probably what we deserve,” Falwell said in an appearance on televangelist Pat Robertson’s “700 Club.”
“The abortionists have got to bear some burden for this because God will not be mocked.
