Police briefs 09/17/01

A student reported his keys were taken from a Bailey Hall bathroom while he showered, said MSU Sgt. Keith McDaniel. The keys were left in the student’s toiletry bag while he showered. After the keys were taken, the suspects entered the student’s room and took his wallet, valued at $50.Police have two unidentified male suspects who may be linked to other robberies in the residence hall.l About $565 worth of items were taken from a male student’s car, McDaniel said. The student’s car was parked in Ramp 2 near the Kellogg Center. No damage was done to gain access to the locked vehicle. Police have no suspects.l A student living off campus reported about $260 in phone calls were made using her AT&T long distance identification number, McDaniel said. The phone calls were made from a Holden Hall room. There are no suspects, but police are continuing the investigation.
