Police briefs 07/16/01

The Taco Bell located in the International Center’s Crossroads Food Court was broken into sometime between 4 p.m. July 9 and 9 a.m. Tuesday, MSU police Sgt. Matt Merony said.An employee reported that $575 was taken out of a safe. The thief is unknown.

  • A 20-year-old female student reported her vehicle was damaged sometime between 8 p.m. Thursday and 2 p.m. Friday at the 1400 block of Spartan Village.The vehicle had a 10-inch vertical scratch on the passenger-side front door, Merony said. Damages are reported at $200 and the vandal is unknown.
  • An 18-year-old female student reported her vehicle broken into between 10:20 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. Saturday at Cherry Lane Apartments.A black leather wallet and its content were taken. The items are valued at $110. A door of the vehicle was left unlocked, Merony said. The thief is unknown.
