Sometime between 11 p.m. Friday and 8:30 a.m. Monday, an unknown subject discharged a fire extinguisher in Morrill Halls second floor.The discharge left a dry-chemical residue on cabinets, walls and the floor, which a Physical Plant employee discovered Monday morning and reported to police.Damages were reported at $300 for cleanup and the cost of recharging the extinguisher, MSU police Detective Tony Willis said.The subject is unknown.
