FRIDAY:
David Mallett will perform at 8 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 855 Grove St., for the Ten Pound Fiddle concert series. Tickets are $10 for the public and $5 for MSU students and children ages 5-12.
“Sylvia” will run at 8 p.m. in the Arena Theatre, in the basement of the Auditorium. Tickets are $5 and will be available only at the door, beginning one hour before each performance. Some language in “Sylvia” may not be appropriate for younger viewers.
Kirkwood will perform at Rick’s American Cafe, 224 Abbott Road. The show starts at 10 p.m. or immediately following the MSU men’s basketball game. Uptown DJs will spin from 6 p.m. to close. Doors open at 3 p.m. for happy hour. 21 and over welcome.
Oregon Dream Child will perform at Harper’s Restaurant & Brewpub, 131 Albert Ave. The show starts at 10 p.m. Cover charge is $3.
nCuriously George will perform at The Dollar Nightclub, 3411 E. Michigan Ave. in Lansing. The show starts at 10 p.m. Cover charge is $3.
