MSU police found marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a knife Monday in a Wonders Hall dorm room.A mentor called police when he noticed the smell of marijuana coming from a 19-year-old male students room, MSU police Detective Tony Willis said. The student allowed police to enter the room and search, denying that he had been smoking.So we searched the room and we found marijuana, Willis said.Police also found rolling papers, marijuana pipes and a switchblade. The resident was cited for possession of marijuana and the campus judiciary was notified of the weapons violation.University ordinances prohibit possession of weapons in residence halls.Also, a 19-year-old male Lansing Community College student in the room was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.The drug violations were passed to the Ingham County Prosecutors Office.
