I am writing on behalf of many MSU students regarding an issue that we believe needs to be addressed. That issue is the glaringly obvious absence of the Food Network in the campus cable channel lineup. When I was home during Thanksgiving break, I realized how much I was missing here at MSU by not being able to get my fix of “Iron Chef,” “Two Fat Ladies” and “Good Eats” with Alton Brown. The Food Network is both educational and entertaining, which isn’t something that can be said of such channels as Nickelodeon and Country Music Television - both of which are currently available through campus cable. Please MSU, get the word out: We demand the Food Network.
