Dont listen to barrage of ignorance from people giving just my opinion

With all that has happened in the last month and the events that continue to escalate hour by hour, I began to listen closer to things that perhaps never captured my attention before. I have started to focus on the diatribes that go on with characters who have the power to influence large numbers of fairly ignorant and uninformed people.

Music, even if loud, helps identify self

After four years on this campus, there isn’t much that intimidates me. But there is one thing that scares me above all else - I get nervous driving in the area when I play my music loud. I’m not worried about the police giving me a noise violation ticket, although I have gotten a few in the past.

Spare Jon, Lisa cell phone conversation about impending hook-up

I knew about five different parties that happened this weekend. One was a techno music party, another was a fraternity party with some kind of theme or other, there was a Ski Club party and two other general house parties on Gunson and Beale streets.I also knew that Jon was planning to hook up with Lisa on Friday, and that the frat party was going to be “totally lame.”I learned about all of this in my math class.

Northwestern game wont be soon forgotten

Evanston, Ill. - The row of MSU players knelt on the sidelines in single file, clasping hands, hoping for just one more miracle. Apparently, it was the Wildcats turn for miracles- again. That 47-yard Northwestern field goal was the improbable ending to a game that defied all logic. “I just hoped we had a few more seconds left,” head coach Bobby Williams said. But the Spartans didn’t.

Will newfound patriotism, unity hold after nation returns to normal?

Voices are raised, money is donated and a great deal of lip service is paid to love of country: “you can’t tread on us,” and “I’d die to keep us free.” Militia members who weeks ago would have shot a federal agent if he came within miles of their homes are embracing those same agents in a common cause - the anger and hatred of those who would cause harm to the United States.
