LansingParty.com, LLC, also known as Lansing Party Bus, has released a statement regarding the buses that were impounded by the Clinton County Sheriff's Office, on Saturday, Oct. 14.

The buses were towed and impounded for failure to have insurance and proper inspections, according to the sheriff's office.

According to the release, LansingParty.com, LLC, has had previous citations for the same allegations in Jackson, Lansing and Detroit, but the cases were unfounded and were dismissed.

"The October 14 impound in Clinton County is the latest attempt by law enforcement to harass LansingParty.com, LLC, its owners, and its customers," the release said. "We anticipate that this alleged violation will be found in the same manner as it has been in several counties."

Legal counsel has been obtained by LansingParty.com, LLC, and they intend to defend themselves against the charges, according to the release.
