MSU police and East Lansing police responded to a total of 79 crimes while most students were away during spring break, according to crime logs.
MSUPD responded to 61 crimes during break, most of which weren't directly on campus. MSUPD did respond to two burglaries at residence halls during break, which occurred within two days of each other — one at Armstrong Hall on March 5 and one at Wilson Hall on March 4.
ELPD responded to 18 crimes during spring break, according to their crime map. Three of these were incidents of driving under the influence and two cases of disorderly conduct near student housing on Beech Street and Albert Ave.
ELPD also responded to one burglary March 10 at the 300 block of Bogue Street across from the Eli Broad College of Business and a non-aggravated assault at Daisy Lane near Breslin Center March 12.
