Human biology senior James Cozzi will graduate in December from Lyman Briggs College. He’s a senior pharmacy technician at Walgreens. He’s been shadowing an orthopedic surgeon since he was in high school and he’s currently awaiting decisions from a number of competitive medical schools.

Philadelphia rapper and singer Rakim Hasheem Allen, better known under his stage name, PnB Rock, was shot and killed during a robbery in a restaurant in Los Angeles Monday afternoon. The late rapper was best known for his 2016 song “Selfish,” which was certified 3x Multi-Platinum last March.

On Aug. 28, environmental geography junior Jenna Drew’s roommate was already in bed when she heard yelling coming from the other room. The yelling was coming from Drew, who was tuned into the Video Music Awards, or VMAs, and had just heard Taylor Swift announce that she would be releasing a new album on Oct. 21.

With agile notes and perfectly synchronized harmonies, the MSU Acafellas are a force to be reckoned with. The Tenor-Tenor-Bass a capella group, formed in 1996, showcases nine male singers that compete in international competitions, perform for hire at public functions and have a lot of fun doing it.

Alexis Black, an assistant professor of acting, theatrical movement, and stage combat in the MSU Theater program has moved her expertise to the largest stage. Joining the critically-acclaimed revival of the Shakespeare classic, "Macbeth," as the assistant violence director, Black is putting MSU on the map for performance.

James T. Lane has been traveling the country bringing back the groove to Motown, portraying the choreographer of the classic Motown act, The Temptations: Paul Williams. "Ain't Too Proud: The Life and Times of the Temptations" follows the story of the "Classic Five" or the original members of the Temptations, highlighting both the success and hardships of the group.
