Smoking ban
It has been more than a year since the Dr. Ron Davis Smoke-Free Air Law was adopted in Michigan. A May poll conducted by the American Cancer Society on behalf of the Michigan Campaign for Smokefree Air shows support for the Smoke-Free Law recently has increased, with 74 percent of the public in favor of this legislation. Human biology senior Bahaeddin Elkhatib, environmental studies freshman Antoinette Martin and Lansing resident and Lansing Community College student Sadarra Fields discuss their feelings about this state smoking ban as well as any changes to the law they feel should be made.
