A Driving Nightmare
On Tuesday night, Lansing resident Thomas Bush’s car battery shut off while he was driving down Saginaw Street. Turning down Hagadorn Road and into Hubbard Hall’s parking lot, he discovered the loss of battery power had trapped him in the car as it ignited. Bush kicked the window of his passenger-side door out to escape, and bystanders called the East Lansing Fire Department and MSU police. Bush escaped with minor cuts on his hand and refused medical treatment.
