Michigan State football announced today that they will begin spring practice on March 15.

There are 15 scheduled practices, recurring on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays until April 14. Their annual spring game will be played on April 16 in Spartan Stadium with more information to be released at a later date.

Last season was the first spring game after the 2020 spring game was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic just getting underway. In his first spring game, Michigan State Head Coach Mel Tucker set up a set of established drills for the game and a quick scrimmage portion to wrap it all up.

MSU is still relishing their huge turnaround season after defeating ACC Champion and No. 12 Pittsburgh 31-21 in the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl on Dec. 30, 2021.
