Five-star point guard Karim Mane, Michigan State men's basketball's top 2020 recruiting target, has declared for the NBA draft, ESPN reports.

The Canadian prospect told ESPN on Thursday that he has submitted his paperwork to be eligible for the 2020 NBA draft. However, he has not hired an agent in order to maintain his college elibility.

If he chooses to withdrawl from the draft, Mane, who had a virtual visit with MSU last week, said he will continue on the college route and choose between Marquette, Michigan State, Memphis, DePaul and Pittsburgh.

"All my options are open," Mane told ESPN. "I'm going to keep my eligibility as of right now."

The news means the one remaining scholarship for the 2020 class remains unknown, however, there is speculation that coach Tom Izzo would like to aquire another guard after the departure of Cassius Winston.

Center Mady Sissoko (Mt. Pleasant, UT) and point guard AJ Hoggard (Wayne, PA) are the other two members of the recruiting class.

Pierre Brooks II becomes first member of 2021 recruiting class

While a 2020 scholarship remains open, Pierre Brooks II became the first member of the 2021 recruiting class when he announced his decision on Wednesday via Twitter.

Brooks, a 6-foot-5-inch shooting guard out of Detroit, is listed as the No. 2 prospect out of Michigan, according to the 247sports composite and ranks 96th nationally.

The four-star recruit averaged 23.2 points, seven rebounds and 4.7 assists as a junior for the Detroit Douglass Academy.
