The annual Izzone Campout has been modified and moved inside the Breslin Center due to wet conditions on Munn Field. In the past, the Izzone Campout has been held on Munn Field, but due to this past week’s rain, the field has become too muddy to hold such an event.
It is still mandatory for Izzone members to attend to retain their lifetime points and to gain two more points for attending the Campout. Izzone members are also no longer required to register prior to the event and will only need to check in upon entry.
This year, Izzone memberships are at an all-time high as they sold out on October 2. A season removed from a Final Four run has garnered high expectations for the men's basketball team and it is clear the students of Michigan State are hyped for another entertaining season.
Here is the updated schedule of events for this year’s Campout.
11 AM: Detroit Pistons Open Practice
3 PM: Doors open at the Breslin for the Izzone Campout
3 PM-6 PM: First check-in upon entry to Breslin Center
3:30 PM: Michigan State Men’s Basketball open practice
6 PM: Group photo with Men’s basketball team
6 PM-9 PM: Sponsorship Activations on concourse
6:30 PM: Free food and drinks on concourse begin
7:30 PM: Michigan State Football versus Ohio State watch party
At Halftime of MSUvOSU: Coach Tom Izzo and team addresses crowd
After Halftime: Final check-in upon exit
