Live updates for the 2018 midterm election watch parties

The State News has reporters at seven watch parties for the results of the 2018 midterm elections. 

Reporters and photographers are at the statewide Michigan Democratic watch party with gubernatorial candidate Gretchen Whitmer, Michigan Attorney General candidate Dana Nessel,  U.S. Senate incumbent candidate Debbie Stabenow and Michigan State Board of Trustees candidate Kelly Tebay; and at the statewide Michigan Republican watch party with gubernatorial candidate Bill Schuette, Michigan Attorney General candidate Tom Leonard and Michigan State Board of Trustees candidate Mike Miller.

There are individual watch parties for: U.S. Senate Republican candidate John James; Michigan's 8th Congressional District Republican incumbent Mike Bishop; Michigan's 8th Congressional District Democratic candidate Elissa Slotkin; MSU Board of Trustees Democratic candidate Brianna Scott; and Michigan House of Representatives 69th District Democratic incumbent Julie Brixie.

MSU Board of Trustees Republican candidate Dave Dutch is not holding a watch party.
