William Shatner to perform at Wharton Center

September 13, 2012

Boldly going where he has never gone before, actor William Shatner will bring his one-man show, “Shatner’s World: We Just Live In It,” to MSU on Jan. 24.

Wharton Center’s Cobb Great Hall will host the performance as part of Shatner’sU.S. tour 20 performances, which begins Nov. 8.

As part of the tour, Shatner will discuss a range of topics from his work on the stage to his career on television and in films.

Political science freshman David Bernier said although he isn’t necessarily a fan of Shatner’s, he would consider going to the show.

“I would check (the show) out,” he said. “I would look into (the show) and see what it’s about.”
Shatner’s slew of performances began this past February in Chicago and has expanded to multiple cities nationwide since.

Tickets for “Shatner’s World” will go on sale Sept. 14 at 10 a.m. Prices range from about $38-$153.
