Spartans slip by Northern Iowa, 69-66

The MSU women’s basketball teamed survived a first-round upset scare from Northern Iowa and pulled out the 69-66 victory.

The Spartans (27-5) didn’t score in the last 1:53, after leading 37-28 at halftime.

MSU handed Northern Iowa (27-6) its first loss in twenty games.

Senior forward Kalisha Keane led the Spartans with 17 points, and added six assists, two steals and three blocks.
