Women's soccer ties Michigan for fourth straight year

The MSU women’s soccer team played Michigan to a tie for the fourth year in a row Saturday in Ann Arbor.

The teams settled for a scoreless tie for the second year in a row.

The Wolverines held a 20-14 edge in shots but MSU junior goalie Jill Flietstra earned her ninth shutout in 12 games.

The Spartans return to action at 4 p.m. Thursday at Oakland.
