U2 concert holds little value for current MSU generation

The fact that U2 has been chosen to come play at Spartan Stadium this summer is very unfortunate. It just goes to show how out of touch the university is with the student body at times.

The majority of our generation couldn’t care less about U2. Most of the students will be out of town when the concert is occurring, anyway. I fear that our concert budget probably is mostly gone now.

We should have spent the money on less expensive, more modern bands that actually are intriguing to students.

After all, who wants to watch a bunch of 35-year-olds (and older) noodle-dance to “Elevation”?
