The MSU men’s and women’s basketball teams will hold their annual Midnight Madness event at 9:30 p.m. Oct. 16 at Breslin Center.
The national runner-up men’s basketball team will raise the 2009 Final Four banner to the rafters for the first time at the event. Doors open at 9:30 p.m. before the formal program begins at 10:30 p.m. Admission is free.
This year’s Midnight Madness theme will be Celebrate the Moment, where the men’s team will recognize some of the best moments in program history. The event will feature introductions of both teams, performances by the Spartan Marching Band, MSU cheerleaders and MSU Dance Team with a men’s basketball team scrimmage to conclude the night.
