MSU has received more than $1.5 million in federal stimulus money and has submitted more than 200 grant proposals to be considered for funding.
A new Web site, stimulusfunding.msu.edu, features descriptions of the projects receiving grants and information for researchers about how to apply for them.
Projects in the mechanical engineering, mathematics, chemistry, microbiology and molecular genetics, physiology and pharmacology and toxicology departments have received funding. Funding has ranged from about $17,000 to nearly $750,000.
The Web site also explains the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act and how the stimulus funding will be distributed.
