The MSU softball team fell to Virginia Tech, 2-1, in the championship game of the Stetson Tournament in Florida on Sunday. Freshman Traci Nicosia ran MSU's only score of the game and sophomore Rachel Turney threw seven shutout innings before giving up two runs in the eighth inning.
MSU heads to Florida again Friday and Saturday to face No. 14 Texas A&M in the Florida Atlantic Tournament.
