Tickets for three of the Spartans’ eight home football games went on sale this morning.

The games against Eastern Michigan on Aug. 31, Rice on Sept. 7 and California on Sept. 14 are available.

Six thousand tickets are available for the game against the Eagles, while 5,500 and 4,500 tickets are available for the games against the Owls and Golden Bears, respectively.

Single-game tickets are $38.

Tickets can be ordered online at www.msuspartans.com or through the MSU athletics department Ticket Office, (517)-355-1610 or (800)-GO-STATE. They also can be purchased at the Jenison Field House Ticket Office from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Tickets for the Northwestern game Sept. 28, the Minnesota game Oct. 19, the Wisconsin game Oct. 26 and the Purdue game Nov. 16 go on sale Aug. 1.

The Sept. 21 game against Notre Dame is sold-out. MSU has had 18 consecutive sell-out crowds in Spartan Stadium.

Last season, the Spartans ranked 19th in attendance, averaging 73,715.
