Flint Northern football and basketball standout Matt Trannon will decided his fate as a college wide receiver/forward today at 2:30 p.m., Trannons Uncle Vincent Kirkland told The State News on Thursday.
The press conference is expected to be in Northerns Viking Room.
Kirkland said Trannon has narrowed his decision to MSU, Michigan and Florida and said he truly believes it will be an in state school.
Trannon is expected to accept a football scholarship, but could also play for head coach Tom Izzo on the basketball team as a walk-on.
School officials are not allowed to comment on the status of recruits. Basketball signing day is Nov. 14, and footballs is not until February.
