Gore not fit to be U.S. president

After reading Drew Olson’s opinion (“Bush should not be our president,” SN 2/9), I thought I should give Olson a small history lesson on who Al Gore, Bill Clinton and the Democratic Party really stand for.
Clinton, Gore and the Democratic National Committee have carried out the equivalent of a full-swing baseball bat to your head. You won’t feel it for a while, maybe as much as two or three years, but it’s coming.
They are slashing our military to pieces. What worse thing could anyone do to America? And despite the high level of anti-American actions taken against the American people, the Clinton and Gore team is being protected by the anti-American media. If the corrupt American media was given the green light to go after these people, you would be stunned to learn how much dirt they have shoveled down your throat.
In 1995, Gore made an agreement with Russia’s top official at the time, Viktor Chernomyrdin, to defraud the American people - and the U.S. Senate. This is a mega news story that the criminal media, of course, chooses to ignore.
Gore conspired with Chernomyrdin to allow Russia to sell sophisticated weaponry, such as submarines and fighter jets, to Iran, in spite of U.S. sanctions prohibiting the arming of a terrorist state - not to mention a dash of common sense.
Gore made a deal to arm Iran, and to keep the American people and our representative institutions in the dark about it. But defining this story above all else is the personal disingenuousness of Gore. He really couldn’t explain what kind of deal he was making with Russia because even a kid could understand the deal was anti-American, and puts every American at risk.
But there is more to this deception. It was also Gore who co-authored the very legislation requiring sanctions against any nation providing arms to a terrorist nation. He wrote the very law he trampled.
During the U.N. Millennium Summit in New York in early September 2000, then-President Clinton called for the formation of a standing United Nations army and called it more important than our national sovereignty.
George W. Bush should have this man arrested and tried for treason.
Gore sent Jesse Jackson to rile up the black community. His running mate and fellow hypocrite Joe Lieberman took care of the Palm Beach Jewish voting block. Professional vote tailor Bill Daley headed up the public relations assault, and before you knew it, the entire thing exploded into what we envisioned - an opportunity to claim voter fraud on the part of the Republicans. The bad Republicans, who actually won the election, were being spun to the simple as the bad guys trying to steal the election.
So this is the man and party you want running this country? Not me! And neither do the American people. George W. Bush is our president, and if that bothers you, don’t cry, because Al Gore did enough for the whole Democratic party.
