Designing something sweet
Colette Moore, a cake decorator, designs a cake at Bake N' Cakes, 3003 E. Kalamazoo St., on March 3. Moore, while in her first year at vocational school at Oakland Technical Campus, was given an assistant position in the bakery because her teacher noticed her handwriting skills. Moore said she has always been artistic, and grew up in a body shop where she watched the artists air brush designs onto the cars. Lauren Wood/The State News
