East Lansing along with much of southern Michigan is under a wind advisory until 10 p.m. tonight, according to the National Weather Service in Grand Rapids.
Ingham County is also being warned of a floor advisory which is set to end at 7 a.m. tomorrow morning, caused by one to two inches of rain paired with melting snow. Temperatures are set to fall below freezing tonight.
The Lansing-based Board of Water & Light, which provides power and electricity to the city is currently working to restore power to 105 customers who are without it, "71 of which were caused by a power line brought down by a falling tree limb," according to a BWL release.
