If you aren't excited for the MSU — University of Michigan football game saturday, this video might change how you feel.
Media and information sophomore Dan Stephens created the video to rally excitement for the game. The video has already garnered more than 10,000 views and has been making the rounds on social media in the less than 12 hours since it has been uploaded.
"I kind of wanted to do an intro showing Michigan’s arrogance back in the day and just getting to this place now where we’re utterly destroying them,” Stephens said.
He said he was inspired by last year's fan-made promotional video and compiled a host of footage chronicling the recent years of the intra-state rivalry, all set to an epic, crescendoing score, with a few quotes from the movie "300" thrown in for good measure.
"I hope that it pumps up the Spartan Nation a little bit for the upcoming game to get a little more fire behind the fans," Stephens said. "I hope a few Michigan fans get to see it, too."
