ESPN's Jemele Hill will serve as grand marshal for homecoming parade

MSU alumna Jemele Hill will be the grand marshal for the 2014 homecoming parade on Sept. 26. 

Hill graduated with a degree in journalism and a minor in Spanish in 1997. She has since written for the Raleigh News & Observer, the Detroit Free Press and the Orlando Sentinel. Hill joined ESPN in 2006. Hill also previously worked for The State News.

She is now a co-host for ESPN2’s Numbers Never Lie and also a co-host for an ESPN podcast called His & Hers with Michael Smith and Jemele Hill.

MSU will play Wyoming for the homecoming game on Saturday, Sept. 27 at noon.
