In a midseason exhibition game, the MSU hockey team took on the U.S. U-18 National Team Development Program, in which MSU lost 3-0.

U.S. put its first to tally on the board when Evan Allen laid a pass off to Will Butcher in the MSU zone, and he struck the puck right past Hildebrand.

Later in the period, U.S.‘s Kevin Labanc pushed the team ahead by another goal when he skated the puck up the left side into MSU’s zone and sniped a wrister.

Anthony Louis got the third and final goal for US NTDP, beating MSU senior defenseman Matt Grassi and netting the puck up close to the net.

The Spartans next game is 7:05 p.m. Friday at Munn Ice Arena against Penn State.
