MSU police responded to two bush accidental fires Sunday evening — one on Adams Field and one outside of Munn Ice Arena.
Police responded to the fire at Munn Ice Arena around 6:30 p.m., when a caller reported the bushes were on fire outside of the north entrance, MSU police Sgt. Paul Kuchek said.
When the police and firemen arrived at the scene, the fire already was out.
The second fire, which happened around 7 p.m. on the east side of Adams Field, happened when a pile of leaves caught on fire.
Criminal activity was not evident in either of the fires, and the only damage was to the bushes and leaves at the sporting areas, Kuchek said.
